IRONMAN
DATA PROJECT.
I am building a historical archive to explore IRONMAN results, splits, Age Groups, rankings and performance over time. First we collect. Then we verify. Only then do we publish.
THE NUMBERS
BEHIND THE RACE.
The goal is to build a dataset that goes beyond a single result: follow an athlete over time, compare races and splits, explore Age Groups and understand how performance changes across seasons.
The 2012—2026 dataset is still under construction. I do not consider data complete simply because it has been downloaded: before publishing it, I want to check coverage and consistency.
SEARCH. COMPARE.
UNDERSTAND.
Athlete search and race history.
Splits and comparisons across seasons and distances.
Age Groups, rankings and distributions.
Race benchmarks and performance context.
BUILD FIRST.
PUBLISH AFTER VERIFICATION.
The extraction is deliberately conservative: checkpoints, resume capability and error control come before speed. The public layer will arrive when the dataset is complete enough to be useful.
THE DATABASE KNOWS
THE FIELD. AI KNOWS ME.
The next step will be to place the IRONMAN context alongside my Garmin data and Athlete AI analyses.
